HAHAH. Today morning went to meet up with limin for the oral thingy. IT was supposedly to start at 10.30 lah but limin was late so we arrived in school at around 10.50 maybe? But we still had to wait for a long time before it was our turn. Soon, we did our practice and the score's really low lah. For reading aloud, mine was 9/12? and for pictureDIS/conversation, i only got 12/16. it really sucked. then MSGed zhuzhu cause she borrowed my shoes in the morning. quite dumb. HAHA.
At around like 8 plus in the morning, when i was still snoring away, zhuzhu called me and told me she kena kicked out of school because she was wearing slippers. She was pretty desperate cause she was already half an hour late for her remedial. So i passed her my school shoes and she left her slippers at my hse.
DUMB right? I mean, why can't we wear slippers to school? Because it looks sloppy? Or because it's expensive? LOL. We wear slippers BECAUSE our feet need VENTILITION. Think about it, we wear shoes five days a week and up to 6-8 hours.! Does anybody realise how smelly and unhygienic our feet can become?
PLUS, we're coming back on a SATURDAY, an official off day. Obeying the school rules is one thing, but not allowed to wear slippers is another. It's not like we put on make-up, accesories or other things to school. It's just SLIPPERS. IF it is indeed against the school rules, then why are we allowed to wear slippers during camp? WHY not forbid us to wear it?
Then there was this time when jiji and me went back to school for DNT. She spent the night elsewhere so she didn't had time to go back home to change to shoes. So we were blardly stopped by the security guard. jiji told him she came from the hospital and didn't had time to change but he didn't give a damn. He just didn't want to let us in. Then this guy came out wearing slippers. So we asked the security guard why he can wear slippers and the security guard said he got camp. FUCK IT lah. WE were disallowed to go into the school because we were wearing slippers and there was MEET-THE-PARENTS SESSION. They didn't want the parents to think that our school has SLOPPY studens. SO BLOODY HELL, will the parents who walk into the school know that the guy wearing slippers was having camp?
FUCKING NO. Will the parents go and ask the guy, "eh, you got camp ar?" NO. NO. NO. So does it even matter if he is having camp or not? PEOPLE WILL NOT KNOW! Why can't the person who set the NO SLIPPERS rule get this into his thick skull?
And it's not that i'm decieving people or what, but this is how it works what. If we were denied entry into the school because of the dumb MTPsession then don't let the campers out also LAH. Then the parents will think that DMN school is such a 'wonderfuuuuul' school. Kiss my ass lah. All a facade.
Seriously, are we wrong to want to feel comfortable on a saturday? We're not in school to attend any formal event so why do we have to look like we are going to some IMPT event? Moreover, slippers are not fashionable so we can't compare. And there wouldn't be any stealing cause only perverse people will steal SLIPPERS. Don't tell me jealously would arise when girls compare NAIL POLISH COLOUR okay? However dumb some girls can be, they can't be dumb to the extent that they fight over nail polish colour. Also, slippers ARE NOT sloppy. You can say that short skirts and untucked blouses are sloppy lah, that i've got nothing to say. but SLIPPERS ARE SO NOT BLOODY SLOPPY. We wear them out, to picnics and even to cinemas. AND we are coming to school to study. So even if we look sloppy, it doesn't affect our intelligience.
