MIDYEARS have started!!! OHMY freakingGAWD. *freaks*
Thurs was the first day of the stewpid MIDYRS. My first paper? CHINESE and fuckingly unbelievably easy. OKAYYY.... Not that easy lah but i expected it to be really tough cause well, prelims ARE coming. Many others also expected the paper to be tough. HAH. Guess all of us freaked out for nothing. Paper 2 was easier than paper 1, although paper2 was "supposedly' the harder one.
and MRkianchuan is so 'very the' clever. His chinese compo is filled with SO MANY chim words. And the content is SO chim also. WAHHHH. I so scared lehs.

*puts on serious face* My chinese standard is dropping like crazy. I used to get A1s but now it's like B3 and B4. My english is not improving either. It's just stagnant, REFUSING to go up. ARGH. I'm gonna kill the stewpid english.
don't tell me english isn't a object for me to kill. or i'll kill you first.
Yesterday (friday) was the english paper. I was kinda relaxed lah cause i didn't really go and cram all the vocabs into my already filled with genuises thoughts brain. AND THE BLOODY THING IS? I didn't expect the paper1 to be so fuckingly hard.
SERIOUS! i flipped open the paper, expecting to choose the single word question and write a narrative story because that's what i do best isn't it? and the single word had to be: TRAVEL.
YOU TELL ME. How do you fuckingly create a interesting narrative story based on this word?
But being the conservative person i am, i still went ahead with the single word question lah.
It began with like this girl travelled to NOOYOLK and met this guy. Then i got stucked I didn't know how else to continue cause my whole story wasn't linked at all to the single word!!!! Then i decided to proceed on to the proposal question which was kinda easy cause I had some 'outsider help'. After that, i went back to the compo section thing again. I read through all the questions and tried to create a nice storyline on each one. After much consideration, i decided to chose the hardest question out of them all
The qns?
"Spare the rod and spoil the child. Do you agree with this statement?"
At that point, i didn't even bother to think if it was arguementative or expository. My mind was full of "fucks" as i only had less than one hour to plan and write out the story. i just went with the flow and kept on writing and writing about how the child think and about other solutions other than spanking the child. It was only after the whole thing that ahzhuu told me that it was an arguementative piece.
Which meant that i was supposed to write out both the negative and postive things about the topic. Which i did not remember whether i did. Which led to me stomping around and acting like a spoiled brat. ARGH. It's so not my fault. Geniuses always make mistakes, just like me.
Paper2 was average. It was expected lah cause MSpoh set the paper and we all know it cannot be easy. But the summary was a killer. The short questions were pretty okay, we could handle it but the summary sucked big time. SO HARD. The points wasn't hard to find but trying to cram every point into the 160 word-limit summary was freaking hard. And i just couldn't find way to paraphrase the words without having to adding more words to it.
For xample:
esp. in developing countries where the immediate priority of subsistence takes precedence over anything else.and:
children contribute more time to a household than they deplete as compared to their counterparts in developed countries.and somemore:
At certain levels of poverty in developing countries, child labour may play and instrumental role in economic survival which augments national economioc development.How they bloody hell do you paraphrase all these? Of course i understand the meaning of all these sentences. I'm not dumb you know. But try to paraphrase it. DIE.
Whatever la. I'm gonna flunk my english and i know it.
Yesterday after school went to CenturySquare to study. Well, erm, sort of study lah.
Mostly were just crap then I bought this really really really cute pen. HAHHA.
